For Immediate Release
November 2025 — Korvix3D today announced its 3D asset marketplace platform, entering Phase 1 of development focused on onboarding creators and building community ahead of the platform's public launch.
Korvix3D is a 3D asset marketplace with native plugin integrations for Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, Cinema 4D, Unity, and Unreal. Artists can browse, purchase, and import assets directly inside their 3D software without leaving their viewport.
The platform takes a different approach to 3D asset distribution. Rather than requiring artists to download files from a browser and manually import them, Korvix3D integrates directly into the tools they already use. A lightweight desktop hub manages plugin installations, and each plugin provides in-viewport browsing and one-click import.
Phase 1: Building the Foundation
The initial phase focuses on three goals:
Onboarding creators: Recruiting 3D artists to upload and sell assets across categories including architecture, characters, vehicles, environments, and PBR materials.
Growing the community: Building a Discord community and support channels for collaboration and feedback between artists and the development team.
Refining the platform: Iterating on plugin integrations, the creator dashboard, and marketplace UX based on early adopter feedback.
Platform Features
- Native plugin integrations: direct integration with Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, Cinema 4D, Unity, and Unreal. Browse and import without leaving your scene.
- Creator dashboard: upload, price, and manage assets with analytics and earnings tracking.
- Verified badge program: a verification system that helps buyers identify trusted creators.
- Flexible licensing: clear personal and commercial licensing terms with tiered subscription plans.
- Desktop hub: a lightweight app that manages plugin installations and handles asset syncing between the marketplace and DCC software.
Looking Ahead
Phase 1 is focused on building a strong creator base and refining the experience based on real feedback. The public marketplace launch is planned for mid-2026, at which point the platform will be open to all users for browsing and purchasing assets.
Creator applications are now open. Artists interested in joining can apply through the Korvix3D website.
