Asset Management
How to organize your downloads, manage your library, and keep disk usage under control.
Your library
Every asset you download (free or purchased) is saved to your library. Access it from the website Dashboard or from Asset Hub on desktop.
On the website
- β’ Dashboard β Library: all assets you own or have downloaded
- β’ Dashboard β Downloads: recent download history
- β’ Re-download any time; your purchases don't expire
In Asset Hub (desktop)
- β’ Downloads tab: local files on disk, ready to import
- β’ Browse tab: search and download new assets
- β’ Files are stored in your configured download folder
Download folder
Asset Hub stores downloaded files in a local folder on your machine. You can change this location at any time:
- Open Asset Hub β Settings
- Under Storage, change the download folder path
- Existing files stay in the old location. Move them manually if needed
The shared folder (used by bridges for import/export) is configured separately. See Importing Assets for details.
Managing disk space
3D assets can be large. Here's how to keep things manageable:
- β’ Delete local files: Remove downloaded files from the download folder when you no longer need them locally. You can always re-download from your library.
- β’ Clear the shared folder: Imported assets leave copies in the shared folder. Periodically clear old imports from the bridge directories.
- β’ Move to external storage: Point your download folder to an external drive if your system drive is limited.
For creators: managing your uploads
If you're a creator with published assets:
- β’ Edit metadata: Update title, description, tags, and pricing from your Creator Dashboard
- β’ Replace files: Upload a new ZIP to update the downloadable package (existing customers get access to the updated version)
- β’ Unpublish: Remove an asset from the marketplace if needed. Existing downloads are unaffected
- β’ View analytics: Check download counts and earnings per asset from the Dashboard
